ok, so at least I am still somewhat on schedule for this year so far. I think these came out really nice considering there hard to mold shape. Here is a rough picture of one of the metal dollies taken with my scanner at a high resolution.

These will be $1.00 each plus shipping. They weight very little so up to 5 can be sent in a one ounce package. These will be by request only until we get a top half to market them with.
Starting the new year off right for 2013

Well my resolution this year is to do better with the business. I spent part of last year making advanced plans to do just that this year.

I just posted painted photo's of the Wolfen into there page on the website. Thanks J.r. at MiniatureModeler.com for taking that task for which I have no time off my hands.

I have 3 new releases being lined up as we speak for 2013, expect to see info on those in the next 4-6 weeks.

and I have volunteered to get into a gaming community project that has arisen on TMP. One of the members there sculpted the bottom half of a 3 legged thing and he wanted to donate it to someone if they would have the community finish the top half of the sculpture making it what ever they wanted.

So I am getting them made in metal as we speak and anyone who is interested may sign up for the project. Were still hammering out what the final pay put will be for those who send me greens to have mastered and produced in metal. Right now we just need enough willing sculptors to make the investment in the molding process worthwhile.

here is the link to the TMP post showing the 3 legged dollie green.
http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=275728

Our first Ever Sculpting Contest.

We're hosting our first amatuer sculpting contest! I wanted something that was simple, so that anyone with some figure modifying skills could participate even with the busiest of schedule's.

All submissions must be photographed and sent in by August 1st 2012. The winning submissions will be cast and made available for sale by Lone Gunman Games.

The contest consists of two categories for Post-Apocalyptic vehicle accessories - wheel covers and stowage. These need to be scaled for use with 1/43 scale die-cast vehicles (used with 28MM miniatures).

Submission Guidelines:

• All submission must be made from materials that will hold up under the mastering process.

• All material used must be royalty free (using peices off of someone else's hobby products will result in a disqualification from the contest.)

• Entries will be judged based on photographs.

Wheel covers - These should be 10MM circles that just need to be glued onto the existing wheels. Make your best looking wheel ripping, leg breaking, zombie slicing covers!

Stowage panels - These should be no larger then 20MM wide and 30MM long and will be glued to the top/back of the cars. These should be covered with all manner of modern equipment/supplies/junk that the post-apoc warrior/hoarder might desire to carry with him.

And now for the prizes:

Winners in each category will receive:

1st place $50.00 store credit or $25.00 cash plus a set each of the winning entries from both categories.

2nd place $30.00 store credit or $15.00 cash plus a set each of the winning entries in your category.

3rd place $20.00 store credit or $10.00 cash plus your item professionally cast.

Aaaaannnd... if your entry isn't in the top three, but still excellent, we'll happily give you $5.00 and a professionally cast copy of your entry as well!

We now have sample castings from our caster of the new 28MM fantasy production figure for the store. this will be our first 28MM in the fantasy genre. (pic is of the original green.)

This is a Barbarian Warrior astride a huge War cat, sculpted by Leandro Ventic‏. The cat stands 40MM high at the head from the table top. The base is 30MM wide at the back and cat + base together are 65MM long. The barbarian is 28MM to the eye and adds another 18MM in height to the back of the cat. These are cast in lead free pewter and weight in at a whopping 4 ounces total each.

These will retail for $30.00 each and will be posted soon in the store for initial pre-orders due to the amount of metal that will be required by the caster to have on hand for this project. The production molds are ready, I just need to place the order for castings.
Finally after 4 months the programmers have bothered to find out what went wrong with the shipping service changes that occurred in April. I guess I can't say much else as I only got 2/3 of the way through moving everything to a new cart provider in that time.

To many things have barged there way into daily life here this year and nothing at all has gotten done. I didn't get any of the goals I set out in January even started.

I did get the Amazons and the Wolfen into the Mighty Armies Rules, those army packs are available at
http://rebelminis.com/ Hopefully we can add the other two races this year.

I need to post the new painted pics of the Modern Heroes figures as well as pics of some of the greens that I bought this year. Will check my finances and see if there is still money available to get them molded at least before the first of the year.
